Virginie HILS is a 2016 graduate of EMBA of emlyon business School. Now, she is the founder of Comptoir de Campagne, a French chain of multiservice shops that revitalizes rural areas, supports local economies and maintains the social bond.

In France, one out of two villages no longer has any stores. It is based on this finding, discussed at a BarCamp, that Comptoir de Campagne was founded. I was at a point in my life when I wanted to have a real, direct and visible impact on people's lives. Is it possible to bring the countryside back to life, support the local economy and maintain social ties?
我們設(shè)計了多服務(wù)商店,，提供當(dāng)?shù)厣a(chǎn)的產(chǎn)品和小吃,，以及當(dāng)?shù)胤?wù)，如銀行,、郵局,、干洗店、咨詢……整個法國,，包括居民,、選舉代表和服務(wù)提供商對此都有相當(dāng)大的需求。 我們正在與他們一起前進(jìn),，形成創(chuàng)新的伙伴關(guān)系,。
We have designed multi-service stores offering locally-produced products and snacks, plus local services, such as banking, post office, dry cleaning, consultations… The demand is considerable, all over France, from residents, elected representatives, and service providers. We are moving ahead with them, shaping innovative partnerships.

Based on our first openings, we are now working to consolidate the model, optimize the supply-chain, grow the network, and develop the franchise with people in search of rewarding work. We raised 4 millions for this purpose.
可以說這項社會企業(yè)實踐和高度民主化的治理已經(jīng)徹底并永久地改變了我。我的團隊和我的家人已經(jīng)全力以赴,，說實話我沒有時間享受現(xiàn)在的鄉(xiāng)村生活,，但我很高興能夠開展這個并具可持續(xù)和包容性的經(jīng)濟項目。
This social enterprise experiment and our highly democratic governance have completely and permanently transformed me. It's rather full-on, both for the team and my family, and I don't really get the time to enjoy the countryside that I'm driving through, but l am just so happy to be carrying out a sustainable and inclusive economic project.
